VW Volkswagen Kombi Campervan 1976 Baywindow 2 0LTR Motor 2 0LTR Manual Gearbo

This 1976 Orange Manual Campervan fitted with a 2 ltr motor and a genuine 2 ltr gearbox. It is in very good condition overall considering her age. Mechanically it is in really good condition the motor feels strong. the gearbox does everything right and the syncro's work well. It drives extremely well and has lots of power. The Van has been repainted with two-pack paint. front & rear roof lining has been replaced. the 2 front door trims have been re-trimmed as well as new backing fitted. the sliding door trim & backing as well as the rest of the trims & backing in the rear of the van have also been replaced. Both the front seats have been retimed as well as the rock & roll bed in the rear. including the rear cushion. The rock & roll bed & the rear cushion are fitted with new deep density sponge for your comfort. The Fridge is a brand new Waeco 80 ltr Fridge. which has a separate internal freezer compartment operating on 12/240 volt. it also comes with a brand new (Origo 3000) 2 burner free standing alcohol cooker (eliminates dangerous Gas containers & lines in the Van). Its been fitted with all brand new Cabinetry. Rock & Roll Bed with new hinges. new stainless steel sink & hand pump. water hoses. all new Fluro lighting. 6 X 9 speakers in the rear. 6 inch speakers in the front. I have installed an Auxiliary Battery in the rear of the engine compartment on the LHS with the appropriate Battery isolator. being Fused. as well as new wiring to the Fluro's. Fridge etc all being connected to the Auxiliary Battery so as to avoid flattening the main Battery of the vehicle! I have completed a Major Service as well as adjusting the Tappets (valve adjustment). replaced the 4 Ball joints. Steering Damper.

re-bushed the centre pivot pin. fitted heavy duty Commercial Tyres to the front. Wheel Alignment. new Muffler. etc. I have installed a "Deep. High Volume Oil Sump" to this Van increasing the total of it's oil capacity so as to keep it Cooler in transit (the biggest enemy of an Air Cooled engine is generally "Over-Heating") as well as fitting a brand new Oil Temperature Gauge into the Dash for more security & added monitoring of the Oil Temperature whilst driving. it does help avoiding major problems. There is so much that has been done to this Van. I have completed this unit as if it were my own & completed it having my 40 odd years of experience. owning 3 of them. experiencing the do's & don'ts amongst all of my travels. this is a really great & practicable set-up for someone just wanting to get up. go & do their thing.
