MGA FIXED HEAD COUPE  1959   MK 1   Old English White  with Red Leather Trim and 5 Painted Wires

Brief  History :  The car was built December 1959 and went to the United States from new.   At some point it came back to Europe and spent some time in France.

                         It was Professionally restored about 20 years ago in Belgium I guess it was changed from LHD then and was then bought by a MGCC member who used it extensively for touring around

                         Europe & the UK. I have the diary of his travels. quite interesting and a load of receipts from the restoration. We have owned the car for about 8 years

                         and it has primarily been my wife's classic but she now has something else so the MGA is hardly used.

Engine  :   It has travelled 20456 miles since the restoration . starts first time . good oil pressure and temperature. Does not use or leak oil.

Interior :   I guess it was all replaced during the restoration and is in still very good condition . All gauges & switches work . Leather Seats . dash . door cards are  all

                nice and require no attention. New carpets about 4 years ago. Very nice wooden steering wheel.

Body Work : No Rust . It has inherited the odd dent and scratch over the last 20 years . could be called Patina. If you wanted to make it near perfect a new paint job would

                                    improve the car greatly. The bumpers and grille were replaced about 4 years ago . the window surrounds I would say are original.

In conclusion nice much admired car which can be used & enjoyed today and be repainted in the future. Only selling as wish to slim down our number of cars as we have lost

some storage space.
