1926 AUSTIN 7 2 seater vintage sports car for sale

1926 Austin 7 all ready to go. With original registration PP 7126. 1930 Austin 7 engine fitted. with 4 speed gearbox. Accepted by VSCC and has "buff form" as a 1926/30 Austin 7. and a current V5C.

Chassis number AC 5948. engine number M114807. Coil ignition.

Bought a few years ago and overhauled and used to get some trials experience. and what a lot of fun. Has hydraulic brakes from a Morris Minor fitted. and all wheel cylinders and the master cylinder were replaced during the cars overhaul.  Please note the SU carb you can see in the engine pic  will be replaced by an original type Zenith. The rack on the back is used to carry a second spare when trialling.   I a got a third class award in last year's Cotswold Trial and also entered VSCC Winter driving tests in Oxfordshire for which it is also very good. Driven on the road to both these events. this is a fun car on or off the road. Has been used by me and a friend for 3 seasons of VSCC trials. and also entered the Measham Rally.

Obviously a "special" body so it is classified by the VSCC as a "special". Original. short chassis 7 with a lot of character.

For sale because the BMW 319 I have been building up for 6 years is now on the road. and the poor little Austin gets left behind!

Also. I really don't fit in an Austin 7.
