VOLVO 131 1968 RED WITH BLACK INTERIOR - WITH OVERDRIVE for sale

“Victoria” has just been returned to the road after a 23 year break and 46 years with the same family that bought her from the Volvo distributers. Parkway of Dorchester.
The original purchase invoice is in a box full of paperwork along with the warranty booklet showing her full service history - her last tax disc expired in March '93.
“Victoria” has been dry stored throughout her life and this had ensured her preservation was excellent - only a replacement n/s outrigger and wheelarch! She has been repainted in the original Volvo red. which also includes the engine bay and boot.
The engine (1780 cc with single Stromberg) was removed after running up to check the condition which. again. was excellent and confirms the low mileage of 56. 95 as being correct (also corroborated by the MOT certificates).
With the exception of the dashtop - plus the addition of carpets on top of the mats - the interior is completely original and in top condition having required no more that a light clean.
The gearbox now has an overdrive fitted and the car runs beautifully.
MOT'd until October 2017. “Victoria” is currently looking for someone to care for her in the manner to which she has always been accustomed!
