1956 Chrysler Windsor Newport - American classic hot rod custom car for sale

This car was imported from the States in 1991 and only used until the mid 1990's (last MOT was Feb '94). It was then stored inside until discovered in February this year.
Since then it has been fully recommissioned including new braking system and battery. The tyres are also as new.  
It runs a 331ci V8 with pushbutton automatic transmission and power brakes. The interior is good although the driver's seat needs a repair (material provided) and the carpets need cleaning.  
The body is straight and solid with minor blemishes and ratty/ patinated flat paint which suits the car well. in my opinion. Being a hardtop. it's a perfect cruiser or even a wedding and prom nights car.
I'd recommend viewing (west London area) as it's a very big car which. although it's no show winner. has lots of character. You're unlikely to park next to another at any show too.
