1914 Jeffery 9-3 for sale
Current customer rating:
I'm selling my 1914 Jeffery because I don't drive it anymore. 3 kids one in college and 7. 4 year old don't have much time for myself let alone enjoy the car hobby.
Its a great car. with a great backstory.
The car used to be known as a Rambler. but in 1914 Charles Jeffery changed the name to honor his late father who died a few years earlier.
These cars were luxury cars for the time. Electric starter. electric lights. pressurized fuel tank.
Amazing for 1914. and the car is all original.
This car came out William Harrah collection and a friend of mine purchased it.
He owned it for more than 30 yrs until he sold me the car about 4 years ago.
I planned on never selling it. but my situation changed.
Now I want it to go to a new home. where someone can enjoy the car and share it with the world.
It is a very rare car. I've only been able to find about a dozen or so through out the US.
The car came just as you see it.
All original paint. Cobalt blue with black leather seats with horsehair filling.
The top sags a little but that's normal for its age. There are a few issues the buyer needs to address: The water pump is leaking and needs to be repacked. the fuel tank needs to be repaired (as seen in picture) the corner is leaking.
also the leather between the driveshaft and transmission needs to be replaced (also pictured).
Its been very well taken care of and always garaged.
1914 Jeffery Model 93. Up for Sale.
40 hp. 231. 9 cu. in. L-head four-cylinder engine. four-speed manual transmission. solid front axle with semi-elliptic leaf springs. live rear axle with three-quarter elliptic leaf springs. and two-wheel mechanical drum brakes. Wheelbase: 116 in.
Actual mileage unknown but I would say in the last 40 yrs its been driven less than 10000 miles
