MK1 MINI Shell for sale

 i went to the mini show at stafford in  2012 where i came across a mk 1 minishell in primer . inus its doors. boot lid and bonnet. the shell on display had been sold and had fetched £4500. on a close inspection i thought i could do a better job than on the one i had just viewed . so i brought a shell had it soda blasted and went to work on it. i replaced the complete floor . the boot floor. rear valance plus support panels. the companion boxes . sill steps. panels and front wings. the front panel is the original one as are the inner wings and windscreen panel. the panels have been replaced with heritage parts or m panels when originals are unavailable. the panels have been spotwelded on where accessible and welded to the best as original as possible . the shell was then  etch primed and then 2 pack primed . a good boot lid was sourced and restored to a high standard. a new bonnet was purchased . the doors have been re skinned with new door bottom frames and window sliders . the shell has been re seam sealed . ll the work has been completed by my self and i have been employed in car bodywork since 1977 . 10 years main dealer the rest by myself. the auction will run its course. there is no buy it now price. those who ask will be shot at dawn . this is being  advertised elsewhere apart from e bay . there is a photo history of the rebuild but that is stored on another phone and that will follow shortly.  the shell can be painted any colour at a price to be arranged. any queries call 07973 756297
