Great investment opportunity with early classic Series One Land Rovers increasing fast in value
For sale: Rare 1953 Series 1 One 80 LHD Gendarmarie Police Military Land Rover. One of the batch of just 3500 provided to the Belgium Police/Military as CKD-vehicles. This is a true barn find and currently located in Belgium. It would make an excellent restoration project. and comes with a lot of original Gendarmarie fittings. It is a non-runner. and is currently fitted with a non standard Diesel engine. But a correct 2 litre engine will be provided with the vehicle.
Comes complete with all Belgium registration paperwork from the previous owner. The new owner will need to Nova register once it is brought back to England. Tax exempt. so no import duties are applicable. It will cost just £55 to UK register with DVLA once restored. as it comes with all paperwork you require.
A rare find with early Series One LRs in such high demand. Delivery back to Kent from Belgium on trailer can be arranged at cost (circa £450). You can then collect. or we can arrange delivery in UK at additional cost by arrangement.
