Cannon Trials Car. This is an historic trials car for the new HSTA series. see details at www. hsta. co. uk
The car is almost complete. but still needs finishing and a few parts sorting.
Car stripped to bare chassis and sand blasted. Repairs to a number of tubes. this car dates from early 60's. were needed and done by Steve Holder of Fourtune Engineering. Car fitted with BMC rear axle with correct low trials diff ratio. Front suspension and steering all there. less shocks. New rear springs. New panels except bonnet and scuttle fitted. 100 E 1172 cc side value engine and e 93 a gearbox fitted. The engine was taken from a running car 3 years ago.
Needs wiring. brakes. exhaust. peddles. prop shaft. correct 18'' rear wheels and tyres and a few other small bits to finish.
With the car comes an Aquaplane side mount pair of SU's. spare engine and gearbox.
The last complete running Cannon sold for around £9. 00. so well worth finishing and using in this great fun new series.
