Beautiful recreation of the 1955 Porsche 550 Spyder. Excellent condition with only 50. 00km (31. 00 miles). Mileage may increase slightly as the car is driven to events. Constructed in the year 2000. The listing states 1955. but that is the only way to list it on ebay. It was built on a tube chassis built for this car. not a donor car. The body is fiberglass and in great shape. The paint is beautiful and in great condition. The drivetrain is a 1. 15cc air cooled Type I VW motor built out with 125hp. A manual 4 speed transmission also from a type I VW. At only 1300 lbs this is more than enough power to move this little car. The interior is very soft tan leather. It is a thrill to drive. You will not see many of these.  
Extras: I have a second plastic windshield that can be installed for the race car style. It also has a tonneau for the passenger compartment. There is a top that comes with the car as well. I upgraded the exhaust which I purchased from the company that manufactures these cars.  
I have owned the car for three years and it has always been garaged.  This car a thrill to drive and runs wonderfully.  You will not be disappointed. You can find information about these cars from the manufacturer "beckspeedster".  Remember this is the Spyder and not the Speedster when looking up the information.
