i have a really nice 1979 Checker A 12.
Though the A 12 is the Taxicab model. this particular car was always a private vehicle and never used as a taxi This car was recently refurbished with new paint. a new interior. Interior is newly upholstered and very nice. paint shows very nice but has touch ups here and there. The Checker has it's original Chevy 5. 7 ltr V 8 and 3 speed auto transmission. The 5. 7 has the original 2 bbl Rochester. Power steering. power disc brakes. and a tilt column are also as installed from the Checker factory in Kalamazoo. The V 8 moves the car along nicely . This is 99% ORIGINAL CHECKER. that was redone with keeping it as original as possible.
If you've had all the other automotive toys and want something different. give me a call. This really is a true gem and you will likely not find another in this shape and form.

Additional notes: This Checker is actually an A-12 E which is the limousine version. Bigger passenger compartment.

Nice car! I miss my Aerostar. Been looking for an A12E. I wish it had the jump seats. I wonder where I would find some. I’m based in Olympia WA.
