The Datsun 280Z was built between the years 1975-78 and was the latest incarnation of the 240/260Z with the 240Z having been voted by 'Sports Car International' the number two car on the list of the 'Top Sports Cars of the 1970's'! One of the most appealing Japanese cars ever produced. unfortunately they have largely disappeared from the roads almost entirely due to insurmountable rust issues of all the Japanese cars of this era making this rare and most desirable last year 1980 10th Anniversary Edition model all the more rare and unusual in its completely rust free and original condition! This particular example is the 2 seat coupe version with a notably different and more attractive roof-line from the less desirable 2+2 models.   The Limited Edition '10th Anniversary' car was released in 1980 and was available in either black/gold or black/red two-tone paint.   These cars came with leather seating. and other special trim features. A total of only 3000 of these cars were built - 2500 in black and gold and only 500 in the red and black.

This is a beautiful stock example with its original engine and with all of its original factory specifications and options intact including original 'Black & Gold' color paint scheme and tan leather interior.  Always primarily serviced at either Nissan dealerships or 'Z' specialists since new with service in recent years at 'Foothill Nissan' of La Crescenta. California and maintained at the renown 'Precision Z Service' of Canoga Park. California.   The last two and a half years the car has been lovingly driven and maintained in central Wisconsin.   Only driven on sunny. warm days on dry pavement.   The car also has documentation going back to its purchase by its original owner in late 1981 (12/15/1981) and includes all its original owners manuals. window sticker and purchase order!

The car has a razor straight body with very nice paint and no signs of any accidents or bondo. The floor boards and trunk area are all remarkably completely original and solid and there are no signs of any rust anywhere. The car has it's original factory tan leather interior which is also in remarkably well preserved and original condition throughout. The engine is extremely strong and the transmission shifts smoothly through all the gears. a simply lovely car to drive.   Notice the photos of the extremely clean and original engine compartmnent.   Very nice. original style and period correct and removable rear window louvers are installed.   Custom car cover is included.

Notice the detail on the photos of the T-tops. interior leather and carpet that are all in excellent condition.   Matching T-top covers and T-top sunshades are included.   Check out also the T-top interior panels - lock buttons and levers. information stickers. end pieces and fabric are all in excellent condition.   Nothing broken or torn which is quite unusual.   Replacement interior T-top panels in any condition are almost impossible to find.   Beautiful matching rims and tires are in excellent condition.   Dash is in excellent condition with no issues - smooth fabric with no tears or fading.
