1953 Pontiac Chieftan Deluxe Two door sedan
A solid honest car not hiding anything with undercoat.
An older restoration of a low mileage car that has held up well. It can be driven and enjoyed as is. instead of like many cars that are over-restored and so expensive that they can't be enjoyed.
Paint still has a nice shine with minimal imperfections.
Very nice stainless and chrome trim (2 minor chrome flaws shown in last 2 pics).
Very nice gray interior sewn in the original pattern.
Dash is in excellent condition.
Optional radio and heater/ defroster works well.
Smooth running straight 8 with bullet proof 3 speed synchromesh transmission gives good acceleration for modern traffic conditions. So torquey that you can slow down to 10 mph and smoothly pull away in high gear.
Has the 3:08 Hydra Matic rear axle so that cruising on interstates is effortless.
Runs drives and stops smooth and straight.
This lovely. rare Pontiac 8 is ready for touring and cruise-ins and to enjoy with pride and comfort.
The new owner will have to be prepared to accept compliments and answer questions every time the car is seen in public.
So reliable and comfortable this would make a perfect candidate to be a daily driver.

The State of Alabama does not issue titles for vehicles of this age. A notarized bill of sale and tag registration will be furnished also I do have the previous owners Tennessee title that is signed on back.
