RARE 1957 Plymouth Fury NICE!!! for sale
Current customer rating:
I am listing this RARE 1957 Plymouth Fury for a older friend of mine.
He is a collector of old Plymouth and Dodge vehicles. All information has been provided by him and a inspection of the vehicle is recommended to ensure you are bidding on a vehicle you would like to own.
The car is in very good condition. It has a 318 V-8 with dual carbs and original air cleaners. The tranny is a push button. 3 speed torque flight.
The radiator is new and it has an electric fan to help keep the engine cool. The car has a new battery. rebuilt distributer. new dual exhaust. newer interior. newer re- chromed bumpers. ( the front bumper has a few small scratches)
new tires and Duane just purchased 4 original hub caps for $1000. The car has an aftermarket CD player mounted under the dash. The car has power steering and manual brakes and the correct fender skirts.
There are a few imperfections on the car. there is a wiper blade scratch in the windshield on the passenger side. the chrome trim around the front windows is slightly pitted and the rubber trim on the rear rollup windows is cracked and dry. the temp gauge is inop. the headliner is new but it appears the installer did not do a perfect job around the rear window post area. You have to look for it to see it. This rare car has a 150 MPH speedometer from the factory and the plexiglass cover has a small crack at the bottom.
The only rust I saw on the car while taking the pictures is on the inside of the hood where it touches the stops and cowl. These would probable polish out as they appeared to be stains rather than rust. According to research. there are less than 95 out of 7500 of these cars still around.
The car starts and runs very well. I did not drive the car myself but Duane has taken it to recent car shows and he has stated it runs and drives well. If you have any questions. please call Ken at . If I do not answer. please leave me a message and I will get back to you. I own a transport company and can deliver this car inside of my enclosed trailer for a fee. The fee will be determined on the timeframe as well as the location. Enclosed transport is not cheap but it is well worth it on an high end rare car such as this.
