Really sad to part with some of my car collection due to reduction in indoor storage space - I am not prepared to let them start to rust over a british winter and would sooner pass them on to like minded classic car enthusiasts that will cherish them as I have .
This BMW is a really good looking clean little car with no significant rust having lived its whole life parked indoors when not in use
The period blue paint is in excellent overall condition for original paint - there is only one small mak on the bonnet lip which alot of people dont even notice and one on the boot lip - both easily curable for 300 pounds spent in a good spray shop - though never really bothered me 
There are other 1602 and 2002 models available for around 6000 - they are not the round tail light models and are rusty rolling restorations - this car is not one of those 
ITS A ROUND TASIL LIGHT 1602 MODEL THAT HAS BEEN FITTED WITH A 2002 MODEL 2000cc ENGINE BY A QUALIFIED BMW MECHANIC WHO WAS THE PREVIOUS OWNER
fitted with twin webber carb and fuel pump for the right sound and reliability - starts first time every time
he also had the seats retrimmed the seats which has been well done 
the dash could do with a vinyl overlay as its split in a couple of places -   
The cars bodywork is in really good overall condition with no significant rust anywhere all panels . sills . doors are good 
So if you are a purist who genuinely wants a 2002 model with engine matching then you will need to part with around 18. 00 for a half tidy one like this 
However - mine looks the same and drives the same - with a perky . revvy motor which handles really well and is well able to keep up with modern traffic - but is available for half the cost so get bidding!!
