A very sad sale of my much loved mini cooper.
I have had the car for 2 years now and had loads of fun. I have spent £6. 00 in the past 2 years and have the receipts for the work done.
Engine and gear box cost £2. 7 k alone.
My loss your gain.
Selling to fund either a new cycle road bike or another guitar.
1991 mini cooper much sort after carb version. J-reg.
10 months m. o. t with no advisories.
Taxed till 2014.
Starts first time everytime !
Ok here goes this is going to be hard to include all the upgrades and conversions.
I am sure that I will miss something so please contact me for specific details about the vehicle.
Body-1991 Rover mini cooper British racing green and white.
Engine - Newly built and fitted by mini specialist garage green and white mini's.
The spec is as follows.
All new items
1380 cc with a host of high performance parts.
Kent 276 high lift fast road cam.
Powermax pistons.
X-pin diff.
K&N induction filter.
Many new parts fitted during the re-build all with receipts to show the work completed.
Very fast car and a wolf in sheep's clothing.
Gearbox - Newly re-built gear box with strait cut gears.
LCB RC 40. SU Carb. K&N induction kit. Sounds awesome.
Needs to be heard.
Wheels - 13 inch genuine rover cooper sport alloys with cooper arches.
All with good tread.
Brakes - Are from a metro turbo .
Four pots with new green stuff pads.
Suspension - High-lo adjustable suspension with short shock absorbers.
Interior- standard 1991 mini cooper half leather seats in good condition.
No rips or tears.
Decent cd player with 4 decent speakers ( high volume needed to hear over the strait cut gears. high lift race cam and induction air box !) Its a JVC cd/mp 3 player with 2 x JVC speakers and 2 alpine speakers.
Many bits changed and upgraded.
Bad bits- The body work is tidy but was my next job to do.
I have seen plenty far worse and from younger cars.
A few hundred would make it perfect.
The car is priced accordingly. so please bear that in mind.
I am not desperate to sell so wont accept any daft offers.
Its over 20 year old car and needs to be viewed to appreciate whats on offer.
I am looking for a cash on collection sale.
I can possibly deliver the car if you contact me and make arrangements.
