motodrome are pleased to offer this utterly outstanding and true time warp 1990 Land Rover 90 V 8 County Station Wagon 6 seater. finished in Eastnor Green with white roof and contrasting grey county cloth trim.

This one (one of the last 90 CSW's built July 1990)

is a factory V 8 rather than a conversion – masses of torque and the ability to go anywhere without breaking things as all the gearing etc. is correct.

The county is the sought after ‘luxury' version of the venerable Land Rover – a somewhat more civilised interior but losing none of the off-road attributes of this British classic. This one is 6 seater spec with the 4 individual rear seats.

Given it's magnificent condition. I'm struggling to understand how this one has managed to rack up an odometer reading of almost 160000 miles – if it read a 10 th of that. I'd go with it. It's only had 3 keepers in total from new. including just one between 1990 and 2016. who clearly cared for it meticulously.

Totally correct V 8 CSW spec - fitted with: power steering. full county trim pack inc cloth seats. alpine lights. sunroof. tinted glass and colour coded bodywork. and rostyle wheels shod with a matching set of Bridgestone AT tyres.

Also fitted with factory steering guard. towpack (exc ball) . mudflaps. side and rear steps. and the original radio/cassette.

It's probably the nicest V 8 CSW I've ever seen. and exudes patina and originality. With a little bit of detail work it's a concours contender.

It will come with a new MOT and 6 months warranty on sale (if sold in the UK).

On test on arrival it performed utterly superbly. with a lovely engine note. .

Original V 8 CSW's are as rare as hen's teeth in the UK now. and I doubt you'll find a better one – it would grace any collection.

Further detail:

The body and paintwork on this one look utterly superb as you might expect. with no dents or dinks and only 1 scratch that I can find. on the NSF eyebrow All 3 door bottom frames are excellent. as are both scuttle corners . footwells and A posts.

Obviously expect slightly wavy panels and minor imperfections etc - it's still an older Landy after all that and blemishes give it character. but apart from the above. all I can really criticise is a little electrolytic reaction on the tailgate. some paint loss to the front and nearside of the roof. some minor stonechipping here and there. and the paint is wearing slightly thin in one small area on the bonnet and on the OSR eyebrow. It's truly remarkable really.

Interior – really lovely and unusually all the County trim has survived well. including all the carpets front and rear.

Seats are excellent. as are door cards. Load area looks hardly used. All that detracts is a slight sag to the headlining over the load area.

Starts on the key and performed superbly on test - with no overheating. misfiring or hesitancy. a nice gearbox etc. nice sharp steering. minimal transmission backlash etc. It just gets on with it and feels as it should. with a lovely exhaust note. Really tight and rattle free. Nothing meaningful for me to criticise. . .
