1959 Mercury 100 pick-up short box 4X2 Ford

Up for sale is a extra nice and rare 1959 Mercury 100 pick-up. this was basically a ford pick-up with Mercury emblem sold in the Canadian market only so it is extremely rare in the US. this was a frame off complete restoration done in 2007 and was run for about 500 miles since. it was rebuilt with all original pieces from a all original truck and everything was professionally done. each body item was painted separately and are in excellent condition. absolutely no rust or damage is visible anywhere. The only change made to the original pick-up is that it was fit with an automatic transmission and the original color which was green. was change to the two tone yellow and white combination. Has you can see on the pictures. it was later fit with wooden guardrail and these will be sold with the truck but the wood trunk that you see on a couple of pictures will not be sold with it. it is removable with no damage to the box floor.
Now for the mechanical side. nbsp;the engine is original and was completely rebuilt. it is a 6 cylinder 223 c. i. couple to a rebuilt automatic transmission that came from a similar trunk. the 4 drums brake. suspension and steering without power have not been modified but everything was rebuilt and still like new. the tire are Cooker Classic G78-15 and they are new.
As you can see. everything on this pick-up is in excellent condition. much better then when it came from the factory and is ready for any daily driving or weekly night cruse or weekend show and it could easily be entered in any judgement show and come out high and on top of it's class. if you like to be different from everybody else. this is the truck for you.
