1952 Willys M 38 Military Jeep

The last few pictures in the pictures section shows the floors and hat channels prior to restoration. they are rust free and just about perfect.

(back up for sale as high bidder sent me a note saying that he found a local one)
Tires are excellent with little use and have the vast majority of wear left on them.
Carb was rebuilt by J. Wallace (the best WW 2-M Series Military Jeep Carb rebuilder. they look like factory new when they return and run even better)

Gas tank looks like new inside

All original gauges were kept as they worked great and looked good too

I have the two headlight guards installed now. didn't realize until after I took the pictures that I had forgot to install them.

The same thing with the cross over rubber tube to the air cleaner. it is also installed now.

Engine runs strong and smooth. it's one of the smoothest engines I've had in a long time

Everything was gone through and replaced as with original NOS or rebuilt parts as needed.

Engine is complete with all the correct military items as well as the transmission.

Transmission shifts like new

This M 38 is extremely nice and will give another 60 years of service without a blink of the eye.

Lockout front hubs installed for ease of driving on hard surfaces but can be replaced with perm locked hub if desired in about 5 minutes per side.
