1946 Packard Clipper Delux for sale
Current customer rating:
Selling my 1946 Packard.
It is a frame off rebuild.
The body is not perfect. but shows well.
I tried to show imperfections in the pictures. but they did not show up.
The bumpers have been professionally painted with the new chrome painting process. but they do have flaws as well.
The door handles do need to be re-chromed or replaced.
The passenger side rear door is hard to close. but just needs to be adjusted.
Nothing major wrong with it. The car does not have heat. air conditioning or windshield wipers. I will list everything I have done to it. but will probably forget something.
It took 3 years to build and I have 30 K invested in it.
I know I will NOT recover my dollars. but just bought a new toy and need to get rid of something because of garage space. I do have pictures of the entire building process to validate the work as well as invoices. Major items:Original engine replaced with LS 1 engine. Lokar shifter Ididit tilt steering column Flomaster series 40 exhaust All new interior with leather seats New add on gauges Fuel cell in trunk GM merlot exterior paint 1996 Corvette front and rear end AM FM classic radio Boss chrome wheels Low profile tires Air ride suspension. compressor in trunk All original dash in place Car runs and drives perfectly.
It is basically a Corvette with a Packard body.
It is the ultimate "sleeper".
Fun to stop at traffic lights and blow the doors off other cars :-). Ask any questions and will try to answer them.
Will be happy to provide the shop who did all the mechanical work and they can verify the quality of the engine and transmission work.
