reluctantly for sale to fund restoration of a classic landrover is this wonderful low-mileage and sorted griff 500 in the classic colour combination of cooper green with magnolia - unusually it has a carbon-fibre dash which will not split like the veneer
We swapped this car at Tony Gilbert for our little-used Morgan 3-wheeler and have had much more fun as it is a sports car you can actually use
Tony knew the car very well and he had sold it a couple of times
It has 42300 genuine miles at present but this will go up at it is still being used and enjoyed
upgrades include the ACT Twin Plenum and smooth-bore induction pipe and the Mark Adams Tornado ecu
The service history is extensive with receipts and MOTs and the fully stamped leather handbook is with the car
Last service was at Austec last winter
car has just passed MOT with no advisories
windscreen is good
hood is mint
everything works as it should
chassis is original but rock solid as the car has been pampered and lived inside its whole life - i have photos for serious enquiries and the MOT guy was very complimentary
this year the car has had
4 brand new toyo proxes tyres
new wool Wessex carpets from Coverdale professionally fitted
new gaz co[lover suspension
new harmonic damper and steering bearing
other ongoing maintenance as required including a remote jump start kit
this is a very honest griff with a great history and in wonderful original condition - there are one or two small stone chips and a minor scuff but they do not detract from the look of the car
it drives very very well - much better than a 19-year-old car has a right to really- the engine is smooth and revvy - the mid-range punch is astounding
Even if you are an old hand at TVRs you will be impressed by the way this car gets down the road - if you are new to them you will be blown away
