hi. am selling this lovely Volvo P1800 for a friend who has no ebay account.  here follows a copy of the listng he wishes me to advertise.

VOLVO P 1800E 2. 0 LTR injection with disc brakes. current mileage 91. 57 owned since 1st JUNE 2009 when I acquired the vehicle from a friend (REX) who had owned this car since 4th February 2002. he vehicle was not running when I acquired it as it was garaged for 18 months following a major stroke suffered by REX

by this stage the car was in quite a sorry state and I took on the project as I had wanted one of these since I was 11 years old. between 2009 and 20011 the car did benifit from 240 hours in a professional body shop rechroming. new rubbers. and chrome overriders. new windscreen. seat covers. new carpet. thermostat. new batteries. rake discs and pads. nbsp;and calipers. and brake linings. tainless exhaust. oses. horns. ater pump. nd brake pipes. all work has been carried out by professional motor engineers. full service history for the chassis rebuild is available.

the car was put back on the road after shakedown mileage and the first major run was a 500 mile in a day to reading and back to take my son back to university. the car performed impeccably. unfortunetly just after this journey I lost a leg due to diabeties in early 2012. the car has been garaged by me since 2009 it was kept mot'd and insured in 2013. 014. 015 an then 2016. ach year I tried to drive as the control of each new prosthetic leg improves. am now on leg number 5 and an not able to drive the car safely without disabled modifications which I am not prepared to do.

so a very reluctant sale is necessary to pass on my pride and joy to a new owner. the price has been set at a fair level I have seen similar cars marketed for £23. 00 - £27. 00. am looking for an enthusiast rather than a collector the good news is I am still able to follow my other passion which is classic motor cycles so am willing to consider taking a classic bike in part exchange within ebay rules of course. o my friend roger is handling the sale for me he has the history files keys and access to the car at anytime. have some spares for the car by separate treaty and the classified ad price is £14. 95. please call roger direct on 07828 911500 to arrange a viewing. hanks for looking.
