MGB GT V 8 ex Pro rover championship car. the SUPER B. This car used to race in the pro rover championships at santa pod. nd came 6 th in the summer nationals of 1994 with a best time of 11. 65 1/4.

However the Super B. was then taken of the track and completely stripped down around 95-96 and revamped with all new parts including. nd this is just a few as the list is endless.

crane 266 hydro cam and pushrods and lifters arps harcourt hi rise manifold holley 600 msd distributor mallory super silicone leads electric water pump headers 2 stage nitrous 100 bhp and 250 bhp all aeroquip lines and fittings throught car nitrous and fuel pressure solenoids/guages in engine bay the engine has seen 6-7 1/4 mile sprints and runs low 11 s with no gas on the new engine. with gas would be easily in the tens.

she has not been used in anger since the end of 1996 after the rebuild so all parts are as new really. but has been started and ran regular to keep things lubed. drives/starts stops etc and has been stored in a dry double garage.

i intended to try and rd legal the super B when i got her but i am a bit to big to get in easily. nd in hindsight it would be a lot of work to put on the road as its just an out an out race car. which will give no mercy to ANYONE that does not treat her with the respect she needs. this is not a toy. ith a few stickers. its a no expense spared piece of drag racing history. THE SUPER B.

The first ever Rover V 8 Championship race was held no less than twenty five years ago. at Santa Pod Raceway's 1986 Labour Day Nationals.

In its heyday the Rover V 8 Championship. as backed by John Woolfe Racing. Real Steel and Custom Car and Street Machine magazines. nd produced a lot of quick cars and celebrity names in British drag racing such as Steve Green. Paula Atkin and Kev Jenkins to name but a few.
