Mercedes Benz  Fintail 220 SEb owned by us for over 5 years now. The Merc had been stored for years before we bought it and needed restoring. The work carried out included Door Bottoms. all were rotten so the bad was cut out and new steel welded in. there was a plate welded under the boot floor and both rear wheel arches had the rot cut out and new steel welded in. nbsp; the whole car was then resprayed.

We bought this classic as we decided to take up Classic Car Regularity Rallies and Autotests. but. quickly learnt it was great for stopping astride the line. but not the most competitive when throwing it around the cones. so it was only used competitively a couple of times and we bought a Mk1 Mini instead.

Since then the Merc has been used for days out. local classic car displays and a wedding.

It has had new brake lines & aeroquip hoses serviced every year relined rear brakes. new front pads. belts. good tyres  It runs well.

It is the 6 cylinder fuel injection model with ivory steering wheel.

Relisted due to time waster please come an have a look before bidding.
