Current customer rating:
Looking for a strong running coupe in really great shape? This coupe has a Bavarian Engine Ex.
motor that's been ported. olished and balanced also added a headercraft header and a 280 degree
cam.
A very free flowing exhaust that sounds as powerful as the car is along with a five speed
transmission- electronic ignition- Mallory racing coil - 4 row radiator w/ fan clutch and electric
fan running cool in the hottest weather.
Sitting on Suspension techniques sport springs and
Bilstein sport shocks the car is about 1. 5 inches lower which gives the car better handling and
a more aggressive look in it's stance. The battery has been moved to the trunk and a strut brace
installed between the shock towers. Tires are Dunlops 205/55/ZR 16 front--225/55/ZR 16 rear
mounted on 3 piece Hayashi rims that look right for this car. Brakes. steering are excellent.
It has a/c and worked when I had it 15 years ago from California where it lived and purchased at
Mill Valley Imports in 1971. The interior is in very nice condition with new leather front seat
and original back seat in beautiful shape. The front leather was from World Upholstery and isn't
a perfect match in color. All gauges work- clock needs a fuse - I didn't bother to replace it because
I have a kill switch and that stops the clock anyway. The a/c is all there and worked but not now-I
believe there's a leak. I rarely use the car - in 15 years I've put maybe 3 thousand miles of driving.
The paint was done 14 years ago- total strip with German paint - overall looks good but has some
issues that aren't so obvious. Windows work- glass. carpet(blue) most of the bright work very good
to excellent .
This car will only keep going up and if you're looking to buy one this may be the
driver you want. No rust issues that I see-thanks for looking.
