Here's a very nice Dune Beige 1977 FJ 40. A beautiful example of this desirable model year and color. this rig will cruise down the highway straight-on at 60 mph with just one hand on the wheel. This truck did not warrant a frame-off. just minor improvements here and there. This is a truck you can have fun driving day in and day out.

Unlike many FJ 40's out there. this FJ 40 has been well sorted out and everything works. There are no rattles. very tight going down the road. Runs superb! The transfer case and transmission shift smoothly. all gauges. interior dash and dome lights. exterior lights. turn signals. brake lights. wipers. stock heater. AM/FM radio. original service light in glovebox . . . you name it. it works. She always draws the attention and admiration of car enthusiasts at the gas station or wherever she's parked.

New 33 x 10. 5 R 15 BFG AT tires now with ~1 K miles on them. mounted to original (refinished) steelies in perfect shape

Replaced "warm pull" heater cable (with OEM) - heater functions BEAUTIFULLY on this rig

Interior floor insulation beneath OEM rubber floor liner and beneath NEW rear cargo mat

New OEM interior door handles

Replaced multiple exterior parts with OEM color correct pieces to bring this back to its original look: rear gas tank holders. license dome covers. bumperettes. OEM pewter wiper blades

While she is in excellent shape. this is not a frame off restoration. This truck loves to be driven.

She has undoubtedly been babied. garage kept. and well cared for as you will see in the detailed photos. There are a few bubbled spots in the paint (under rear Toyota emblem. under rear spare. under main gas tank cover and on passenger front fender.

The white roof is structurally perfect. though does have a scuff on the rear passenger side top (not visible).

The odometer reads 65 K but may have turned over. we simply don't know however the truck is runs. drives and looks excellent throughout!

This old school 4 WD serves up an awesome combination of off-roading prowess. Power steering makes driving this FJ 40 effortless. Front disc and rear drum brake combination will bring all you to a quick and uneventful stop. The color is the original Toyota Dune Beige (paint code 416)
