The car dates from 1970. is road registered and road legal. It has been modified for racing or sprint use. The car is in good condition. mechanically it is very good. the body could perhaps do with some attention to bring it up to tip top condition.
The engine. brakes and suspension have all been extensively modified to competition specification and all work has been done to the highest standards with only the highest quality components used throughout regardless of cost.
The car drives very well and is incredibly fast and tractable. This is a very quick little car.
Body: Modified standard Marcos fibreglass shell with lift of bonnet and quick release detachable front end. side sills and rear wheel arch extensions.
Engine: A Series engine bored to 1340cc fitted with scatter cam. high ratio roller rocker gear Cooper S rods. crank and distributor. electronic ignition. straight cut drop gears. ultra light flywheel with new sintered clutch. LCB exhaust manifold. Engine developing 105 bhp at 6270 rpm. max torque 95 ft/lb.
Gearbox: Metro Challenge close ratio gearbox.
Suspension: Mini dry front suspension with Spax dampers. Hi-lo adjustable cones. rose jointed negative camber lower arms. sliding spline solid drive shafts. Rear suspension is a lightweight beam axle with 4 links ( adjustable for pick up height in the chassis ) and Spax adjustable coil overs.
Brakes: AP 4 pot front calipers with vented discs. alloy Minifin rear drums. Fitted with an adjustable brake bias valve for the rear.
Interior: Safety Devices full roll over cage to current RAC specification. Elliot electronic tach. speedo fuel gauge. oil pressure gauge. all road required lighting etc. Plumbed in fire extinguisher system. battery box. racing bucket seats with 4-point Sparco harnesses. interior panels painted matt black.
Wheels: 13" Minilite wheels fitted with Yokohama Advan 175 / 50  / 13 tyres. Spare wheel and tyre. Also a spare set of white Wellar type steel wheels for wet weather use. with Yokohama A008R 175 / 55 / 13 tyres.

We have owned the car since 2004. have used it as our demonstrator. and it has been campaigned throughout various hill climbs / sprints proving to be a very popular and successful car.
