1940 Packard 160 for sale
Current customer rating:
I am selling my 1940 Packard 160 Super 8.
I bought the car from a buddy of mine a little while back.
All I have done to the car is put new points and condenser on it.
This is a good running and driving car.
It has the straight 8 cylinder motor.
It is an all original. unmolested car.
The car is complete. the only thing that is missing is the glass piece in the hood ornament.
The only rust on the car is just the little surface rust that every car has.
The driver's side fenders have been painted and have started to crack. but the rest just seems to be all original.
The interior is pretty good shape.
The wood grain is cracking.
I have no documentation but the car was supposed to have been in the movie "The Notebook".
The car is being sold as-is.
I have a clear South Carolina title.
I reserve the right to end the auction early as it is for sale locally.
If you are from South Carolina and purchase the vehicle then you will have to pay sales tax to me. as I plan to sale the car through my car lot.
There is a $1000. 00 deposit due within 24 hrs of auction end and the remaining amount is due within 7 days of auction end. (No exceptions! I went through a problem with that last time I sold something. ) I will only except cash in hand. cashiers check or wire transfer.
If payment is made by wire transfer or cashiers check. I will release the vehicle as soon as the payment has cleared with my bank.
If you have any questions don't hesitate to give me a call at .
Please call or come look before you place a bid.
