1969 Plymouth Road Runner for sale
Current customer rating:
Here is your chance to own a well preserved 47 year old muscle car. It gets thumbs up and total attention where ever it goes. I have owned this car for 8 years. The 1969 Plymouth Road Runner was the Motor Trend magazine car of the year. This 1969 Plymouth Road Runner is pebble sand beige in color. The fender tag states that was the color it came from the factory. It was repainted over twelve years ago. It maintains the original two tone beige and brown vinyl upholstery. The original carpet is rust colored. The upholstery is in great shape. It has a bench front seat. It has a Grant classic three chrome spoke with wood rim trimmed steering wheel.
It has pop out side rear windows on this pillar coupe. The trip odometer shows 36. 00 miles on it. I have no idea of the actual miles on the Road Runner. It has the original working "Beep-Beep" horn. It has a 383 cubic inch numbers matching engine. a numbers matching rear end. and a non-numbers matching 727
Torque Flight
heavy duty automatic transmission from a 1968 440 cubic inch engine car. The shift lever is mounted on the steering wheel column. I just had the entire front end rebuilt to provide straight and well controlled steering. It has new shocks on the front and back. The engine. transmission. and rear end. have been totally resealed so there are no oil drips. It has a new oil pan. new water pump. new fuel pump. new tune up. It has new brakes and a new master cylinder. It starts right up and runs great. The transmission shifts like new. All the rubber trim is in good shape. It has Magnum 500 style rims with Firestone Wide Oval F 70-14 raised white lettered tires. It comes with the glove box owner's manual. an original dealers shop manual. an original Plymouth dealers brochure. Chrysler muscle car parts interchange manual. Chrysler
Hussle
stuff manual. MOPAR parts locator guide. illustrated facts-features manual and various other items including a stuffed Road Runner and a stuffed Coyote. All
electricals
(windshield wipers. heater. turn signals. headlights. tail lights. backup light. radio. etc. ) work. The body is in good condition. The chrome bright work and bumpers are in good condition. It has the original bumper jack and jack stand in the trunk. This is a non-power steering. non-power brakes. non-air conditioned. and non-power windows car. I can send electronically to interested buyers a forty nine page document that provides detailed information about this car. This will be a cash only transaction or an electronic funds transfer transaction only. I do not take Pay Pal. personal checks. bank checks. or certified checks. etc. No warranty is implied. or stated. No out of the country transactions will be accepted. Any shipping fees are paid by the buyer. I can assist in the securing of a qualified shipper. if needed.
