1967 Pontiac Firebird for sale
Current customer rating:
Up for sale is a very very very rare matching numbers 1967 Firebird 326 H. O. Convertible. Very well taken care of car thought its life by the previous owners. Everyone has a reason to sell their car so here is mine: I'm the third owner of the car and just haven't had the time to restore it/refresh everything that it needs to be back to its showroom finish. It's close but just needs the time and love. I've been working 62 hrs a week since January and I just don't have the time honestly and I could use the money to work on my wife's 77 Bronco when I get the chance.
Pros: Numbers matching 285 HP 326 Four Barrel. Still running strong as ever. odometer reads 48 k miles. Power top. power steering. power brakes. center console. AC/Heater. Front end has been rebuilt with disc brakes. stops on a dime! Interior has been redone and the convertible top as well. New plugs. wires. cap. rotor. points. timing. runs great. No rust issues. AT ALL!
Cons: The transmission was replaced by the previous owner and was replaced with a very nice and sharp T-350.
It shifts very very well. It still has the original duel exhaust. Needs replacement. I haven't put the HO stripes yet. The drivers side door wouldn't open one day. no clue why. I was in the process of taking the interior apart to re align the Windows and fix the door but the door handles still have the tiny screw and I haven't bought the tool yet. The gas tank was going to get replaced as well with new straps. Looks tired and has a dent. The windshield washer tank is missing but everything else is there. bracket and hoses. Transmission needs a new pan gasket. Needs a trunk Matt and a full size spare with the jack. just to make it back to show room options. Chrome on the ventilation Windows could be redone. Most of the chrome trim looks good. The paint and body was done a while back. wasn't the best body work I've seen but it's a driver. If it was done right and everything was to the best of shape the car would be worth in the 60's.
It's the little things that it needs and time. The reserve will be a decent price for the car. There were not many made. AT ALL. I've read about 225. If you have any questions please contact me for more pictures or just general information. I will be listing the car locally in the Dallas. ouston area and surrounding cities to attract more local buyers. Shipping is on you and inspections are welcome. I have described everything to the best of my abilities. I have the PHS packet and I can take pictures of whatever you want. Immediate deposits of $500 within three days and full payment with 7 through Pay Pal or through wire transfer. Happy bidding!
