Here we have a Landcover 88" SWB with a V 8 and auto box fitted.
The car is for sale due to a project that changed course!
The car is 1958 so Tax and MOT exempt.
The car has freewheeling front hubs. tow bar (but no hitch) swing away wheel carrier and soft top hood frame but no hood.
It has a nice rev counter and Mountny steering wheel.
It has been patched and fettled over the years and will continue to need this attention.
The rear cross member will require some patching. but is not structural. the bulkhead also will need some patches. Chassis appears solid and clean. There is an Allisport fuel tank in the rear so I imagine the original fuel tank requires attention. There is a loose connection in the headlight switch (causing one side light not to turn off fully) so this will require replacement.
The body work is relatively straight but has war wounds. also as can be seen a non standard front has been fitted at some point in the past.
The seats have one small patch of mouse damage but are otherwise very good. the tyres have loads of tread. The hard top is loosely bolted to the car so that it can be readily removed for sunny days! It has a home made tailgate.
It is a landcover that will provide many years further of tax and MOT free motoring and will be a rock solid investment with series 1 and 2 prices rising weekly! It could be used as is or a basis for restoration.
Viewing is encouraged and a short test drive will be possible on a private access road.
