1975 Land Rover Series III 3 109 Defender - Rare, Ultra Low Miles! 110 for sale

As an avid Land Rover owner and enthusiast. it has been a pleasure to own this rare 1975 Land Rover 109 vehicle for the past 12+ years. It is perhaps the lowest mileage Land Rover Series vehicle in the States with only 3. 05 original miles.  I was the first to register the vehicle here in the states after being imported from England.  At that time. the vehicle had approximately 2. 00 original miles (I've put an average of 100 miles per year on the vehicle since purchase).  
This vehicle was the cover girl on the Rovers North 2004 Catalog (see photo). Given the vehicle's low mileage and strong running characteristics. it would be particularly well-suited for an expedition vehicle and. of course. everyday driver. The frame and bulkhead are rust free. as you'd imagine from this low mileage vehicle. No rust on bottom of door frames which can be typical . It has the rugged Salisbury rear axle and rare. rear PTO. Unique rear body cabinets (Carmichael conversion) allow for ease of access inside rear of vehicle. Center roof indentation ideal for stowage of sand/extrication ladders or solar panels. Bench seating in back. New Exhaust. New Fuel tank. New rear galvanized roof ladder. RHD.  2. 25 liter gasoline engine. 25 minutes from Burlington. VT airport (BTV). 15 minutes from Rovers North and Lanny Clark Rovers. Make a trip of it and come inspect and test drive this rare example of the marque.
