1988 Mercedes 420 SEL saloon stunning condition in Blue black metallic.
The bodywork is absolutely superb. wheel arches in perfect condition.
157. 00 miles.
This is one of the best 126 models you will find.
Rear doors are 6" longer than the standard saloon giving very good legroom in the back.
Mercedes club member. pictures show the car at the club stand at Tatton earlier this year and at Gawsworth Hall last summer.
This vehicle needs to be seen to appreciate its condition. tyres are almost new.
Electric seats and windows. electric adjustable steering column.
MOT to June 28 2017.
Faults :- Slight leak from transmission which has been dealt with.
N/S rear window winder has stopped working.
Drivers seat base has become unclipped around the base.
Slight damage to O/S front pillar cover (inside) due to someone in the past not knowing how to remove it.
Sometimes there is a slight hesitation on gentle acceleration. suspect an airleak.
Light bubbling on chrome of front bumper (I have a good replacement)
Other than the items mentioned above everything else is fully working and in superb condition.
This car comes with a quantity of new and used spares.
It was owned by a company director who shipped it out to Botswana where I purchased it while living there & brought it back.
It has its original registration number back on it.
