Barn Find series 111 Dormobile for restoration . Very rare vehicle with huge potential . Been stored for many years . Fitted at some point with a P 6 Rover V 8 . with all the suitable transmission tunnel fabrication
1973 Tax exempt Dormobile pop top Land Rover series 111 109"
Fitted with 3500 cc Rover P 6 V 8
We purchased this as is . no brakes non runner ( not even tried it ) to restore for a customer we have since sourced a vehicle that is usable as is so this is to be sold on .
Solid looking chassis . front dumb irons replaced ( improvement to welding required ) the main rails and all the rest of the chassis look good . a scrape and waxoil will bring it back to life .
Bulkhead pretty solid . footwells repaired again . I would improve on the repair .
Doors are pretty good . some local repairs required .
Dormobile still exist and all parts for the restoration are available .
Seat retrim kits are available from Exmoor .
All the parts to make this rare vehicle tip top again are all readily available . A well worthwhile project .
