For Sale is Mercedes Benz 280 CE. Pillarless Coupe 1972. manual gearbox. LHD in very good condition.
Original German car brought to the Netherlands in 1998. Believed to have been restored in Germany to a good standard and maintained to a high standard since.
The car has been fitted with LPG system in Holland in 2009 by authorised Garage and certificate of conformity is supplied with the paperwork.
Car had a valid Dutch RDW (MOT) until September 2016. certificate supplied with paperwork.
In 2008 the car has been tested and thoroughly checked for its condition by an independent Valuation agency for Insurance purpose and the full report is enclosed with the paperwork.
Current mileage showing is 22551 Kilometres.
Dutch RDW(MOT) certificate shows 22403 KM and the valuation report from 2008 shows 20780 km. Full set of keys plus spare key in original leather purse.
Car starts. drives and stops excellent. no smoke. rattles or bangs. smooth gear change.
Car has been resprayed blue and isn't the original colour believed to be white. Nevertheless. it matches perfectly the fabric upholstery which is in excellent as new preserved condition. Two small splits on dash. Fitted tow bar.
Under-body the car is weather sealed and sprayed.
Wheels are an original Mercedes with stamped numbers on it. Chrome trim is also in excellent condition. Brand new original Mercedes door mirror is supplied to be fitted to the right hand side door if future owner wishes to do so.
