1978 Series 3 SWB Land Rover for sale

A chance for an enthusiast to bid for my 1978 Series III Land Rover 88" petrol. bought as a project car and currently on a SORN. but I now need to hand it over to someone able to complete the task. The vehicle has been garaged since I bought it in January 2016.
New door tops and front bumper fitted so far and there is also a brand new black truck canvas from All Wheel Trim. bought because I cannot fit the vehicle in my garage with a full tilt and frame fitted. Frame is supplied with the vehicle as is the old tilt. but this has a fair few splits and bits of rot. The truck canvas has now been taken off the vehicle and has never been exposed to the weather. other than for the photographs.
As can be seen there is rot on both sides of the bulkhead. the chassis has been welded previously in various places.
The speedometer reading shows 8041 miles but there are MOTs going back to 1996 that can trace the vehicle mileage reaching 100. 00. so the accurate mileage is 108. 41. The engine starts and runs well (a bit choke reliant). I have not driven it any distance so I can't comment too much on how it drives. It is still within its current Mo T which expires in November so it could be taxed.
As is customary with Land Rovers of this age there are various oil leaks from engine and gearbox
A couple of quirks in that it has a freewheel hub on the off side and a regular hub on the near side. only found when original modular wheels and hub caps were removed. it also has a home made conversion of the tail gate into a side opening door.
