1988 RANGE ROVER CLASSIC 3.5 EFI AUTO. Early 'Pre change over' model. for sale

1988 'F' RANGE ROVER CLASSIC 3. 5 EFI AUTO. This is an early 'Pre change over' model with separate wooden door cappings to the door cards & satin black door shuts etc.
The 'Ascot' green paintwork is mainly original having obviously only had the o/s/r door & quarter panel painted at some point in its life. It has had some local paintwork around the edges & to the scuttle. not to a good standard & has the usual odd errosion bubbles. although is very straight & presentable. The door shuts are very good. The lower tailgate is solid & looks to be original The upper tailgate will need replacing or repairing due to usual rust along lower edge although opens. shuts & locks fine.
We have had the underside steam cleaned & chassis etc looks to be very solid & original with no signs of welding repairs with the exception of a recent replacement rear cross member. It would now benefit from a full waxoyle or underseal treatment.
The interior is exceptionally good for the year with a fully working factory fitted electric sunroof & recent replacement headlining. The seats. carpets. parcel shelf & trim etc are all original.
Overall this is a very genuine & unmolested early Range Rover with all matching 'Pirelli' tyres & MOT until 19 th April 2017.
The mileage showing is 41109 although this is incorrect & we have been advised by the last owner of 5 years the total mileage is approximately 127000 due to odometer change. We have the original service book with nine stamps. handbook & some previous mot. & service repair invoices etc.
