We bought (IFIT) on November 15 th 1980. so that means we have had it for 33 years. I am now coming up to my 80 th birthday and as my Wife is now a semi invalid and I have been Hospitalised and poorly for the past three years. plus the brain is going dead it is time to relinquish my hold on (IFIT)
The car had been on SORN since Sept 2009 due to the above illnesses. but now up and running. taxed. back on the road and booked into my local garage for a check over on 19 th June.

The NEW WOLSELEY TEN SALOON
In order to follow the link. hold down Ctrl key and left-click with mouse then go to Mechanical History (the later pictures are a bit fuzzy as my hands shake somewhat) also have a good look around the site. lots to see and learn.
First registered in 19 th June 1946 (have the buff RF 60 log book). It boasts a sliding sun roof. opening windscreen. Trafficators. internal heater. hidden radio speakers (radio appears to have given up on me at the moment) 4 new tyres. new battery etc etc. Mileage is about right 54873 but odometer cable has broken down about 4 times.
Now we have had years of enjoyment from owning this Wolseley but unless you are not prepared for things that go wrong and not willing to learn about cars of this age do NOT bother to bid. In the years we have owned (IFIT) it has cost a small fortune to maintain. but the fun out-ways the anguish.
PS it is Positive earth - Morris cars saw the value of the Wolseley overhead cam engine and put it in the renown MG TC & TD cars. Spares for this engine and other parts are ready available at MOSS EUROPE ( see “useful contacts” ) on the web site. Will also supply a CD disk with all the site info. Got quite a few spare parts but that will take some time to sort.
