***This is a 1987 model year. ebay does not accept the shorter SN# used to reference military equipment Private Party sale! 1987 Military Spec Humvee. 1987 AMG General Utility Truck Model M 1038. 6. 2 L Diesel. Automatic 3 spd trans. power steering. power disc brakes. tow package and newer tires. This truck was used by Fire and Rescue Service in Mississippi and the last state inspection was 2009 . The Odometer shows just over 20 K miles. I guess it could be 120 K but I doubt they put 120 K service miles. use your own judgement.
The vehicle fires right up runs and drives well. I just put in 2 new "Deep Cell" 6 TL batteries and a new ignition switch. No major issues that I can tell. Its pretty clean for the year. it should be gone through and is a good candidate for restoration. It is wired up for a winch (missing) and is currently set up for 2 passenger but could be changed over to 4 man setup (4 door). I have a video of it running and driving if you want me to send it to you please let me know.
Item is located in Phenix City Alabama and is available for viewing. I can assist with finding a shipper and helping load vehicle. Vehicle sold "As Is" with Bill Of sale. The 17 digit vin number would be 137 XE 8330 HE 026209 if it were a civilian vehicle (just for your reference). There are many affordable surplus parts available for these on e Bay now. so you can buy most anything for it. The oil cooler had to be bypassed due to a pin hole in one of the outer hard lines.
This is your chance to get a nice state used white hummer. when restored might be worth well over $45 K. I've seen rusted out ones go for 15-25 K at state auctions in California. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I'll try my best to answer as I am certainly no Hummer expert.
