Car has done a genuine 47677 miles and was on its original tyres until last mot (i still have them)

The car drives like new. the engine and box have never been apart or out of the car. the starter. alternator. turbo. radiator. calipers. wheels. hoses. hose clips stickers plastic covers. bonnet safety cord are all original. this car has just been serviced stored and used on the odd occasion.

 Always been privately owned not In hands of dealers then passed around like a lot of cars. so ultimately having far more owners and abuse. short journeys. test drives etc.

With my persuasion my friend bought the car off an elderly gent 12 years ago it had FRSH and 19000 miles

 I bought the car 8 years ago with 27400 miles I drove 370 miles home on a teaspoon of fuel and no issues. I used the car daily in the summer then garaged it and moved house and had a child so the car just got a run every month for a few miles then cleaned and parked up again. until 2014 when I decided to use it and couldn't stop. I did 12500 miles in 7 months with no issues

The car has no rot all original panels brake lines subframe original paint underneath no added sealer no welding done or needed.

Alloys are as new apart from some slight kerbing on 1 front wheel.

Interior is exceptionally good for a renault with Uncut parcel shelf.  

Still has red writing on gearknob no rips in seats .

There is no stereo or plastic covers where the mirror adjust is as they had tweeters on and my friend wanted the stereo and i didnt. the covers are available on ebay for £10 also passenger top plastic door trim has a crack in it also £10 off ebay.

I am being very picky and truly honest with my description as i want to retain my 100% feedback and am not here to cheat people.

I have never and probably never will see another renault 5 this clean.

My freinds dad bought one of these new and after 3 years it had more miles and wear than this does 25 years later.

Everything works and lights up as it should. engine is as you would expect from a 47500 mile car that's been well maintained. quiet. smoke free and ultra reliable as it has not been modified or abused. always warmed up and cooled down but as much as I like driving quick I just dont drive this car hard and my friend is in his 40s and just bought it to use on Sundays and days off. the fact it had the original tires still on proves this.

I have many photos of the car throughout the years and you can see It has always had the same wheels and tires when you zoom in 

Recent work done

Most not really needed but as it hasn't done many miles in the last few years I wanted to give it another full service myself. I wouldn't trust a renault dealer to touch it. they couldn't fix half my new clio v6's many faults after 18 months and thought they had fixed it until I pointed out they hadn't again and again!

The car doesn't leave my sight. nobody else has driven it

Issues (my brand new clio v6 had more when I drove it out the dealer brand new then back again many times)

Headlight chipped

Bumpers cracked

Dented passenger door 

Minor dent and scrape on drivers rear quarter 

Minor fuel leak when tank is over 1/2 full. just a drip but worth mentioning. it started recently so I just put 15 in which last a while in this lightweight economical car

anti perc fan is slightly noisy

The rare to see bonnet sound deadening has some damage in one area but its still there

Carb could do with a service theres a very slight flat spot. it always starts but sometimes takes a few winds 

Nobody ever notices these defects they just admire it and say "its mint or its a long time since i saw a standard looking one of those"

The only modification is a stainless exhaust that was purchased new and i have the receipt also a speed camera detector it still picks up gatsos from when it was last updated but any new ones it will need an update also gives you a gps reading of your speed

Sigma remote alarm with keypad. car locks from remote or key in door 

Sadly my friend misplaced the service book. he is available to back this up and i have many emails back and too chasing him up over the last few years to find it. i also have the name and address of the original owner.

I still have some mots and reciepts but just looking at this car for 5 seconds you will be able to tell that the mileage is genuine.  

This is better than any other I've seen in the last 10 years please don't waste time offering me £3000 all you will get for this is a welded up car with a poor paint job ruined interior and everything will be worn out with bits missing you would spend more than that again just getting it running and driving ok 

This car would take very little work to make a show winning concourse car worth £15000 easily

 I wanted to sell it as original. I could of sprayed black sealer everywhere put on new bumper and made up some service history spent a few hundred pounds but I'm just selling it honestly.

I have new seat bolsters. a used door anti perc fan and many other new and used spares that could be purchased separately   

I am not desperate to sell the car. i do love the car but a new job means im away a lot and dont have time to use it very often. but if its good weather i take it for a run every few weeks.  

The car has its original renault supplying dealer plates on and is fully legal and can be driven away

Car is located in north east Scotland

 I can collect any viewers or buyers from train stations nearby Montrose or Arbroath or even airport Aberdeen or Dundee
