Up for grabs is a first ofthe new shape 1959 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia

The car is 95% complete only missing front and rear screens and bumpers all of which can be sourced locally. the car will require full restoration. Interior is there but will require refurbishment. engine turns over freely and body and paint is required. has usual rust to sills and bottom corners of the guards otherwise rest of the car is very solid and a great basis for resto.

Early Karmann Ghias are fetching over $35 k on the open market and i've watched the last three local Shannons Auctions priduce these sales figures. well worth restoring especially given its age.

Car has been partially stripped and all parts removed remain with the car. the stripped paint was also coated for protection.
