BRIEF INTRODUCTION

Hi and welcome to my advert for a lovely Mercedes 190 E Cosworth 2. 5 Manual

I had bought this vehicle with the intention of keeping it however I have lost the unit where I was going to store it and don't want the car to be parked outside on my driveway.

Currently the vehicle is stored in a secure location so appointment is necessary to view it.

The gentlemen I bought the vehicle off had owned it since 2006 and bought it when it had 142 k miles. The vehicle now has 196 k miles. However this is not your usual rust bucket barn finds. The vehicle has 3 previous owners.

It is a lovely Chanpagne in colour and has no visible rust on the bodywork. The interior is complemented by a lovely half leather while the middle insert is made of Chequered cloth.

The Alloys are genuine Cosworth Alloys with decent tyres.

Please note the vehicle is a total spec (I stand to be corrected).

HISTORY AND SERVICE HISTORY

The previous owner had purchased the vehicle in 2006 142 k miles.

The car has full Mercedes benz service history upto 103 k and then specialist history from 103 k to 134 k miles. Between 103 k - 134 k miles the car has had the following:

Between Aug 07 152 k - Dec 08 168 k the following was done:

BODY

1. Replace o/s/f wing - rust behind plastice trim panel

2. Repair n/s/f panel corner

3. Repair n/s & o/s/r ¼ panels - around wheel arches & at panel clip holes

4. Repair n/s/f wing - at panel clip holes

5. Repair all jacking points

6. Repair n/s/r door - at panel clip holes

7. Repair n/s/r lamp mounting - rust causing water ingress

8. Cleaned & Painted (hammerite) battery tray

SUSPENSION

1. Replace o/s lower wishbone

2. Replace 6 x Cam/Castor bolts

3. Replace front anti roll bar bushes

4. Replace rear anti roll bar bushes

5. Replace rear subframe bushes x 4

6. Replace rear lower arms inner and outer bushes

7. Replace front shocks

8. Replace front springs

9. Replace top mounts

10. Renewed SLS fluid

11. Dropped rear suspension (via SLS) 5-7 mm

DRIVETRAIN

1. Replace propshaft carrier bearing assy

2. Replace 2 x prop couplings

GEARBOX

1. Replace complete gear linkage assy (bar linkrods & gear lever)

2. Replace Mounting

3. Replace clutch master & slave cylinder

STEERING

1. Replace damper

2. Replace drag link

EXHAUST

1. Replace rear box

2. Replace centre box

BRAKES

1. Replace o/s/f ABS Sensor

2. Front & Rear Brake pads

ENGINE

1. Replace both engine mounts

2. Replace oil cooler thermostat & Cleaned out oil lines & Cooler

3. Replace throttle potentiometer

4. Replace coil

5. Backed flushed heater matrix

6. Replaced throttle cable

7. Replaced Inlet air temp sensor

8. Replaced Fuel Pump (all precaution only)

9. Replaced Engine Damper

10. Replaced SLS pump seal

EXTERIOR

1. Removed Wiper assy cleaned and lubricated

INTERIOR

1. Replaced Gear knob

2. Replace heater illumination bulbs (all)

3. Fitted genuine Mercedes Benz Audio 10 stereo/ CD

There is a lot more history and general service work carried out throughout. The oil and filters have been changed recently with new plugs etc. Including a new diff.

The current issues with the vehicle:

Vacum leak (intermittent)

No UK MOT. Car has arrived from Ireland where it was stored inside everyday

All paperwork including UK logbook in previous owners name available.

Windscreen passenger side has a crack

Vehicle is sold as seen and viewing is recommended
