Our Milwaukee showroom is proud to present this true surviving. un-restored 1970 1/2 Pontiac Trans Am Ram Air III. The odometer reads 31. 54. which represents the actual mileage on the vehicle. Options for this 1970 1/2 Pontiac Trans Am include: AM/FM Radio. Power Brakes. Power Steering. Seat Belts. Vinyl Interior. Raised White Letter Radial Tires. and Rally Wheels. Powering this 70. 5 ' Trans Am is the numbers matching 400 CID Ram Air III V 8 engine. which produces 335 horsepower. The original 4 speed manual transmission transfers the power to the rear end as smooth as butter. Almost everything is still original. all the way down to the hose clamps and battery cables. All fluids and filters were replaced during an extensive service in 2013. Every effort was made to preserve the originality during the service. including the left manifold being removed. planed. and reinstalled with a fresh gasket. The original brakes and front wheel bearings were also serviced. being disassembled. cleaned. and reassembled with new brake pads on the front disc brakes. The original Polar White paint. blue center stripe. and decals show some signs of aging. including some checking and a little surface rust in spots. There are no holes in any panels. and for it being original. the 46 year old paint and body looks pretty darn good. The blue vinyl interior and seat backs received a thorough cleaning and or refinishing. along with the dash. door panels. console. and seat belts. This Trans Am Ram Air III has been owned by the same individual since July 1970. and comes with the original Pontiac Protect-O-Plate and owner's manual.

Pontiac produced almost 3196 Trans Am in for 1970. These are known as 1970 1/2 models due to a labor strike that delayed the release of the Trans Am. Of those 3. 96 Trans Ams. 3. 08 were built with the 400 CID Ram Air III V 8 engine. and just 1. 69 came equipped with a 4 speed manual transmission. This is an extremely rare opportunity to own one of just 1. 69 cars produced in 1970. and possibly one of a handful of survivor cars that are still road worthy today.
