1967 VW Splitscreen Campervan would consider PX/Swap for T5 for equal value

*** UPDATE - Ball joints have been replaced and minor corrosion looked at as part of MOT advisory - as a VW specialist looking at it (rather than a regular garage who were doing the MOT) they have deemed there is no corrosion! They have had the bus up on a ramp and given her a full looking at and declared a solid bus all round.

***Just been for a weeks holiday in Holland in her and we ran there and back with no issues up to the ferry. on the ferry and driving round Holland - she garnered a lot of interest. photo's and waves!

*** Will be in Devon and Cornwall from the 25 th August in her so am happy to meet anywhere along the M 5 from Birmingham till the A 30 on the 25 th and then in Bude till the 28 th and then St Ives till the 2 nd September - happy to meet up and let you see her in the flesh.

For Sale my 1967 LHD Splitscreen. mechanically restored to a very high level she starts every time and even after the winter months stationary a few pumps of the accelator and turn of the key she catches everytime.

Averages 60/70 mph on the motorway and is my everyday run to work in the summer.

I focused on the mechanics rather than cosmetics and this has held me in good sted with no break downs or mechanical issues.

She just needs cosmetic which for a first time VW owner this will be ideal.

However please be aware that all buses of this age will need work of some description and upkeep there are a few advisories on the MOT (due March 2017) regarding ball joints and minor corrosion on underside. There really is nothing horrible lurking - I have quoted a few jobs below that would need doing but you'll definately be getting a solid bus.
