It is power by the Original 230 Inline 6 engine and backed by a 3 speed Transmission with revolutionary Fluid Drive technology. If you're not familiar with Fluid Drive. it is a hydraulic coupling behind the clutch that basically works like a modern torque converter. You easily clutch through the gears and in 3 rd you need no more clutch. You simply stop and take off again without need the clutch. Pretty rare to find one of these in excellent working order original from 1948. This car is boasted as a True Survivor because it made it through a 68 year lifespan 99% untouched and still works as well as it did in 1948. All the seats are untouched with factory Dodge seat covers that are still in great condition. the only thing in this car that is not Original Dodge Equipment is the front carpet and the passenger rear fender was repainted.
