1955 Fargo Pickup stalled restoration project. I bought this truck in Edmonton,Alberta and drove it for several months. NOTE: The last photo shows the truck as it left Alberta. Decided to tear it down for a total restoration converting it from a dually 3//4 ton flat deck configuration to a 1/2 ton single axle truck. It was reduced to the bare frame, sandblasted and painted with POR 15. I used the rear end and axles from a 1/2 ton frame, but I still have the dually axles and everything removed from the truck. The body was disassembled and all metal work was performed by a retired body shop man. This took over a year and he returned all the metal painted with grey primer. The motor was completely rebuilt using all new parts. I have the spec sheet for this rebuild. The transmission was professionally rebuilt and both motor and tranny are reinstalled in the frame. This project has all of the big money work already done. However, I lost steam (78 years old) and want someone to put her back together. A perfect opportunity to select your own color and specifications. All glass, original wiring harness, two driveshafts and all emblems (Fargo) are included. Complete heater unit, windshield wiper assembly. Boxes of misc parts. All of the window mechanisms and the original glass in nice condition. Some new rubber for window installation included. The seats have been reupholstered in Black . This project has been stored in my dry barn for a couple of years. Motor has not been started but is well lubricated and oiled. Turns over nicely.
