1956 Mercury Montclair Custom

This is the original Custom known as Heart and Soul.

It was built in the Midwest and toured the show circuit as far back as the 1970s.

Thousands have been spent to bring her back to her former glory.

This custom was featured in many vintage magazines back in the day.

Body and Exterior

Solid rust free body and clean undercarriage.

Floors. Frame. and Rockers are rust free originals.

Refinished in an original color of Persimmon and Wimbledon White.

Restoration was done years ago but is still very nice.

Body lines are nice and fit as they should.

Chrome has been redone and stainless trim polished.

Dual side view mirrors with chrome bumperettes.

Full Continental kit option ( Louvered ) with polished stainless ring.

Steel Fender Skirts. Chrome exhaust extensions.

Spinner hubcaps with Wide White Wall Radial Tires.

Nosed and decked with custom old skool pin striping.

Hood has been louvered. spot lights added. and polished lake pipes installed.

Interior and Trunk Compartment

Beautiful Off White interior with Color keyed carpet.

Original Headliner with working interior lights.

Nice dash with Custom pin striping.

Steering wheel refinished. bright work very nice.

Full Custom trunk compartment with spun aluminum

Road Flare. flashlight. fire extinguisher. and first aid holders.

Carpeted and upholstered to match interior.

Trunk compartment alone is a show piece.

312V8 with Tripower setup and Chrome Carbs

Mercomatic Transmission and stock rear end.

Factory Power Steering and Power Brakes

Engine bay is stunning. chrome everywhere.

Chrome grill valance. Blower assembly. treadlevac. and PS Pump.

Spun Aluminum finned theme throughout.

Outstanding attention to detail.

Addition Details

Suspension has been lowered 3 inches all around.

New lowering coils in front and new lowering blocks in the rear.

Air adjustable rear suspension controlled from inside the car.

Overall a very high end driver quality car that has been well cared for since its restoration.

This car is all 1950s right down to the original generator. points and regulator. very Era correct.

She drives out great at highway speeds with no issues. A great opportunity for a serious collector.

A clear New Hampshire title can be provided.
