1986 BMW E28 528i SE for sale

1986 E 28 528 i SE
Here we have a very tidy example of an E 28.
Im not saying its 100% perfect. there are a few stone chips and scratches here and there from its 30 years on the road. but in the main. its in fantastic condition. with absolutely no structural corrosion.
We have known the car since early 2009. as it belonged to a customer of ours. here at Fritz's Bits.
With a change of circumstances and a house move. our customer was unable to keep her any longer. and we aquired the vehicle in January this year.
We have gone through the car from top to bottom. replacing and repairing any bits and pieces that it required for its MOT. as well as all the advisory items. including all solid and flexible brake lines.
She has now had a full engine service including follower adjustments. has been tuned and road tested thougherly and is now ready for a new home.
The car does have a full service history from new.
I know this because I have read through it. in fact two of my mechanics have also read through it.
Unfortunately though. we decided to 'put it somewhere safe'. and to date. after ripping apart several offices. we have not been able to find it.
When we do finally locate it. we will of course pass it on to whoever is fortunate enough to have purchased the vehicle.
This state of affairs is reflected in the price. in my opinion what we are asking for is around £1000 less than what an E 28 of this specification and condition is worth in the current market.
In the normal way we would store a vehicle like this for future use. but we currently have exhausted our covered storage areas. and it does not seem fair to leave her dormant. exposed to the wonderful Somerset weather.
