VOLKSWAGEN GOLF GTI MARK 1 1800 cc
This is a 1983 VW Golf GTi MK 1. 1983. It is finished in Lhasa Green. and I have owned the vehicle for about three years. in which time I have done about 400 miles!!!! When I bought the car i was informed that it had been restored by a VW specialist in the Midlands. I did have a massive folder full of pictures and receipts etc. but since owning the vehicle I have moved and cannot find everything!! The mileage was said to be genuine. but I don't have the paperwork now to prove that. The vehicle has been resprayed. and is rust free. It has been retrimmed in black leather. The vehicle is currently sat on genuine TSW alloy wheels from it's era. but also comes with a set of fully refurbished genuine alloy wheels as would have been fitted when new. The vehicle has been lowered. but I do have the original suspension to convert to standard. When I bought the vehicle. we serviced it and also changed the timing belt etc. Looking at all the MK 1 Golf's for sale at the moment. I would certainly say that this is one of the better ones about. The photographs have been taken without the vehicle being valeted or polished due to the massive request for photo's.
