Triumph TR4 for sale
Current customer rating:
1963 registered Triumph TR 4.
The TR was manufactured and shipped to America in May 1962. so a very early car. and registered in 1963. I have the heritage certificate and it is a matching numbers car.
It is Triumph signal red with black leather seats. piped in white with a white dash.
I bought the TR from the second owner who had owned it since 1973. covering approximately 20. 00 miles since with a genuine mileage now around 64. 00 miles.
The car is a true survivor. It has never been restored but has been correctly maintained.
The interior was renewed about 15 years ago including carpets and seating. The hood was also replaced at that point and had never been fitted until I bought the car in January last year. It never needed it as it had spent the last 15 years in Palm Springs. California.
The rest of the interior is original and maybe needs new knobs etc but I like it as it is.
The bodywork has had one repainted many years ago and looks good but with stone chips and the odd dink it isn't perfect.
Mechanically I would trust it on long runs and it has not let me down even on the odd 100 mile trip. The radiator looks quite new as does the exhaust and the tyres were renewed just before I bought it.
I had the car serviced last year and it has just been MOTed.
Only for sale as we rarely get chance it use it.
I will try to take some more pics but it was a last minute decision to sell it. ( pics taken last week).
